Eastfield Village invites your participation in "Conversations with Craftsmen" on Saturday June 1, 2013. More information.
The Mason's Collectors' Club, in conjunction with the Raven Mason Trust at the University of Keele, is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the granting of the Ironstone patent to Charles James Mason in June 1813, by holding a special exhibition of Mason's Ironstone wares. The exhibition will run from June until December 2013 and will be held at Keele Hall, Keele University, Staffordshire (UK).
The Museum's own Ironstone pieces will be supplemented by pieces loaned by Members of the Mason's Collectors' Club. In total, some 200 pieces of Mason's Ironstone will be on display and will focus on the early period, from 1813 to c1830. The exhibition will be opened at the Club's summer meeting on June 22nd and will run through until the end of December, 2013.
Further details of the exhibition can be obtained from the Club secretary Alan White or from the Club website. Please note that the exhibition (which is open to all) can be viewed by prior appointment only.
